Photographers Work To Study.

I've started to come up a list of photographers who I think would be a good to look at when it comes to the idea of Conservation and how photography can be used as a powerful tool in this field, if I'm talking in terms of 19th early 20th century photographer then I'll have to look at people like-

Ansel Adams
William Henry Jackson
Carleton Watkins
Eliot Porter
Philip Hyde

While in the case of more modern photographers I've got more scope because there's far more work out there in this field, just a few examples of people I could look at would be-

Staffan Widstrand
Peter Dombrovskis
Xi Zhinong
Michael Nichols
Patricio Robles Gil
Robert Glenn Ketchum

Also a good source could be to have a look at The International League of Conservation Photographers, I know none of these are particular house hold names and the only person I'd heard of before was Ansel Adams and I've covered his work before so I don't really want to return to his if I can help it. Should be enough here to get me started if nothing else.
