The National Trust already manage 7km of this iconic stretch of our coast line but now they have a chance to gain control over another 1.35km. There asking for donations to help with this aim and you can do this by going to www.nationaltrust.org.uk. One of the main issues around our coastline is erosion dew to the weathering and the seas themselves with the chalk cliffs around Dover being particularly susceptible to these processes it's important that there protected as best they can be before they go past the point whether there's nothing we can do to maintain them.
