I'm happy to say the feedback on assignment 3 was fairly positive a few areas still to work on but if it had been perfect I think I'd have been far more concerned. The comment that stands out most is that my tutor is still a little unclear on the purpose of some of the photos I've used in this section. One of the questions she raises is are the areas of clearance there to be of benefit to the environment or harm, a good question and one that's a little hard to answer right now. The areas of clearance that I'd look at pretty much represent both sides because some had been replanted while others had been left for nature to reclaim as it wished. I'd aimed to try and show both sides to the issue to make as much a balanced argument as possible but from my tutors concerns this clearly did work as well as I felt. One point I did pick up on was that I need to back up my aims with more facts and figures to give even more wait to my work which is something I'll be looking to do in my next assignment because its no good having good photography without a good strong basis for your argument in the first place. She also recommend a couple of things to study-
Maria Short 'Context and Meaning'
Juxtaposition of Images (in regards to how my photo can be position to work better together)
Much then still to think about and look at moving forward.
