More Good Work From The BBC.

Have been watching the new program on BBC1 called The Great British Year brilliant piece of TV highlighting the beauty of nature in this country and the way it changes throughout the seasons. Its one of them things you watch and for me anyway feel the need to get out and about regardless of the weather with my camera and capture the changing seasons myself. Only Winter and Spring been on so far but winter probably being my favorite month has to be the best part so far, I know there isn't as much wildlife around during the darker, colder time of the year but there's just something I find enjoyable, if I was to guess I'd say its because you have to work that little bit harder to find the beauty in a landscape that's asleep till the spring.
These kinds of programs can only help to encourage people to protect the diversity in nature that can be found throughout the country getting people involved who have never had any interest in this kind of thing before. That's the beauty of TV it reaches into our homes so easily and can effect our points of view in only a hour so well done the BBC more TV like this please you've got to use my TV license for something useful after all.
