Getting My Focus Back.
In a previous post I wrote about focusing the message I want to get across in my work and now I'm pleased to say after much thought I've come to some clear ideas about how I want to progress. My tutor might not agree but how I see the direction I want to go in is this, plain and simple you have to show people exactly what there'll lose if you don't protect the environments that I'm going to look at. This idea will work well with my work looking at Wetland and Woodland habitats but what about the other two sections on Gardens and National Parks. For the National Parks section I was thinking that the aim here should be more you have to encourage people to get out of there homes and offices and into the outdoors embracing the beauty of these spaces, while the Gardens section will be more showing look there are things you can do in your own green space no matter how big or small that can really help in conserving our natural world. Of course I've still got to come up with an idea of how to visually do this but I feel happier in that fact that I now have an idea or two of where I'm going and not just taking photos because a scene looks attractive to me. Like my tutor told me to begin with my works got to meaning at this level not just be nice to look at.
